The volunteers of Manthan Welfare Society, Him foundation and Kusum Kanta Foundation with support of Sunrise Academy Management Society conducted ‘Stationery Drive’ on 16th September 2023. This initiative was undertaken to support the students of Government School with education-related needs mainly with stationery (103 pens and notebooks given in Junior school, 180 colours, pencils, erasers, sharpners and notebooks) given to primary classes. There were many centres set up for stationery collection. Mrs. Pooja Pokhriyal, Secretary Manthan Welfare Society mentioned about the purpose of the initiative and promised to continue such support in the future and congratulate Mrs. Mukta Nautiyal who heads Government Primary School, Arya Nagar, Kathbangla, Dehradun for the wonderful work done at the school and students were very disciplined and knowledgeable. The programme proceeded with distribution of stationery to the students from different classes. Fun games and activities were conducted by the members who brought smiles on the faces of students.
